At this interactive workshop, find out how to practice different forms of humor such as a story, metaphor, therapeutic ploy or funny failure. Role play will be incorporated to enhance the use of healthy workplace humor in supervisory relationships.
1) Explore research and therapeutic benefits of workplace humor, especially around stress management
2) Use role play to practice different forms of humor such as a story, metaphor, therapeutic ploy or funny failure
3) Explore and discuss how the use of workplace humor promotes quality of life among team members, colleagues and with clients
4) Complete a personalized “Humor Blueprint” that identifies participant behaviors, attitudes and competencies for ongoing professional growth in the supervisory setting
