Walking that Funny Line: Workplace Humor and Ethics

  • Cleveland State University West Center 26202 Detroit Rd. Westlake, OH 44145 (map)

When was the last time you heard a funny joke at work? Was it really that funny? Most of the time, professionals are joking around at the expense of manic managers and quirky co-workers. At this interactive workshop, you will learn about your role as a supervisor, ethical responsibilities and the importance of workplace humor. Complete your very own Humor Profile to reset humor boundaries and identify areas for growth. As a group, case studies will be used to promote the use of healthy workplace humor.

2) Learn about the therapeutic benefits of workplace humor in regards to communication, relationships, mental wellness/resilience, conflict resolution and self-care
